A/C recharge

for give me if this is a dumb question but where do i hook the recharge can to to refill my AC system
is it the front **** or the back ****

LOL not a stupid question at all. But I beleive you fill from the "low side". The High side has ALOT of pressure and you can injure yourself if you don;t know what you are doing.

The low side is the connection in the back I think, anyone care to back my statement up or slap me and tell me Im wrong? I am not 100% positive on the answer..

Yes, it is the one in the back by the firewall.

yes just hook the freon up and go for it, use the fitting on the back firewall

i have recharged my fair share of a/c units.....what are your symptoms? is the a/c working at all? let me know and i will walk you through it!

ok first of all the blend door is broken so i unpluged it wo it would quit blowing hot air
so i tried the ac and it wuz blowing outside air temperature air so my grandfather who has done AC stuff n the past came over to help me out
turns out the compressor wuznt turning on so i went to o reillies and bought three cans of recharge stuff

when i put it in the compressor would turn on for a minute or too not long enoug to blow cold air and then shut off and then i started turning off and on off
so i used the other 2 cans to the dame effect so i think i must have a big freon leak not sure though but ill have to go have it checked out
