question- I had A/C charged today. I get a full season out of charge. I get home and compressor is off. I used my test light, no power at a/c plug. I jumped compressor from battery and it kicks right on, ice cold. I removed the wire that I had hooked up to battery, compressor turns off. Ithen figured it's that safety switch near firewall. I have power only at 1 side. I jump that switch, no compressor still. I checked the fuses, all good. any idea why I have no power to compressor?

The cycling switch supplies a signal to the CCRM to energize a relay. That relay provides power to the compressor clutch.

See the stickied subject above for IRCM/CCRM details.
