Well looking and looking couldnt find the leak.. Took it to my GOOD shopand said it must be a REALLY small leak because they cant find it either.. So they just switched over to R-134 and recharged it and said its running nicely now.. Oh well, hopefully it will last all summer. thumb

I had my a/c clutch replaced at the dealer last June. It's only now beginning to warm up here in Ottawa and to my delight my a/c still works.

Last July I began to notice a change in register temperature that corresponded to a change in engine vacuum when the system was set to Max A/C. When vacuum dropped off, air coming through the registers got warmer. Neither myself nor the dealer could figure this out. The system was holding its charge. I finally removed the glove box to examine the vacuum lines and discovered that the line to the recirculation door was leaking vacuum. I ended up having to use duct tape to keep the line from leaking.
