There is no A-arm in a Taurus.

The Taurus has a Lower Control Arm (LCA) and a tension strut.

Nope.

There are aftermarket replacements made by Moog (# K8577/8579, L/R) and TRW (# 10787/10786. L/R) but not even SHO-Shop offers anything "reinforced" or "tubular". I didn't bother to check the Motorcraft part numbers or pricing.

The Moog LCAs are $57.38 each from rockauto plus shipping. They also include the LCS/SF bushings per Moog's catalog.

One of these days when I have 100 hrs of free time, I'd like to build a chrome moly tubular subframe, set up for gen1/2 mounting points with gen3 lower arms and their alum knuckles. Knock 40 lbs off the front end.
