96 Upgrade

Hey I just installed the 96 upgrade on my 94.
2 questions ... They have about 5 miles on them right now.
1. They sound like they are grinding a little bit, is this normal?
2. I swear I hear a scraping noise now when I make left turns, coming from the left front tire. I dont see any scrape marks on anything.
I got new pads, rotors, caliper brackets from SHONUTperformance (thanks Josh!!).
Monday the SHO is the shop, getting all the brake fluid pumped out, and new 'racing' fluid put in that Josh sold me. I was going to have the shop check my handiwork out, but what have you all got to say about it.

Most likely you bent the bottom of the backing plate slightly and it is scraping the rotor. Just reach under and pull it away a bit and you'll be fine.
