These are the ones that Josh T. has @shonutperformance.com

I want to make sure I understand something(s)...

They are SFBs from a 96 SHO? They are better than stock SFBs and they require a slight "notching" of the subframe. What does "notching" the subframe mean? Are they worth it?

Yes, they are far better than the stock SFBs for the 89-95s.

Aluminums aren't too much more if you can afford them, but sometimes cause more NVH. Most don't mind.

Just file or grind the extra "nub" off the new SFB. That's easier than "notching the subframe.

An interesting point that I noticed was on several 95's including my own, the subframe already had these notch's in the subframe. They were oriented so that the elongated part was parallel with the car (ie; front to back).
