I have a 93 SHO and I it needs new wheel bearings so I purchased a 94 knuckle with wheel bearings already packed in it as well as the hub. To do the 96 Upgrade I need the Calipers from a 95 Continental, Caliper Brackets from a 96 SHO, Pads from 95 Continental, and the hardware for the bracket & caliper. Is there anything else I would need to do the upgrade?

Also besides Ford where else can I get the brackets from because AutoZone and PepBoys don't carry them.

You can use any caliper bracket stamped "FN74". These brackets can be found on 96-99 SHO and believe 2000-2004 Taurus and Sable.

fn74 bracket

You forgot the most important thing: Rotors! Autozone 54030B - $24.99 (looks like they finally raised the price...)

The FN74 brackets are on 1996-1999 Taurus SHOs, 2000+ Mercury Sables, and 2001+ Tauruses.

My parts list (from memory) was:

Wrecking yard 1994 sho:
-knuckles (got the brand new KYB struts too)
-calipers, slider pins, etc (I got everything & just pitched the old brackets)

Wrecking yard 2002 sable:
-FN74 caliper brackets, bolts
-598 brake pads ($2.00 like-new is better than $50 new)

Autozone:
-54030B rotors (1995 continental, 1996-99 sho P/N)

Other important parts:

Ford Dealer:
-Axle Nuts, ball joint-to-control arm bolts, tie rod end nuts, strut-to-knuckle bolts (old ones break!)

Real auto parts store (napa, etc):
-30mm axle nut socket, copper caliper crush washers, tie rod end cotter pins, brake fluid

Drill out the strut tower plate spot welds yourself & go get an alignment after you are done.

You may want to get a temporary spare from 96-99 sho, or 2001+ taurus also! The stock spare won't fit on the new rotors.

the axle nut is actually a 29mm but the 30 mm will work. i got the brackets and calipers from a 01 sable, knuckles were from a 94 SHO, looks like we're getting another 94 for parts in soon.....
