96 brake upgrade problem

I just got my upgrade from midwest shoa nd i went to put them on but the outer pad and the caliper mount are rubbing the rotor, i cant get them to fit for the life of me. I tried putting my old pads on with the new rotor and it fit fine, what am i missing?

Its hard to tell exactly what's happening from the description you gave.

Are you using the caliper brackets with FN74 stamped on them?

What size pads are they?

Where is it rubbing?

Correct calipers?

i figured out that the caliper mounting brackets werent sent so thats what the problem was. the caliper wouldnt even fit over the rotor.

I should have written a note in there so you didn't waste your time. My apologies.

aw dont worry about it. I shoulda been smart enough to know that they wouldnt fit without the brackets. You can ignore the e-mail i just sent ya([email protected])
