94 MTX with 13" cobras in front and stock in the rear.

First my passenger rear brake was rubbing & one pad was to metal. So yesterday i did the brakes(new rotors with new pads plus lubed the slide pins) and it rubbed again. Looks like the e-brake is engadging but not disengadging. So I had to leave the e-brake cable disconnected from the PR caliber. Worked out just to get home but the driver rear is doing thte same thing but not close to as bad as the passenger side. Any suggestions?

Also my driver front is making a screeching noise from the brakes to. The front are 13" cobra with the dual piston calibers. And the bottom i guees the circle metal thing(theres 2 i guess that hold the brake pad to the caliber) is missing. I guess fell off while driving. Can this cause the squeek in the front?

Thanks
Dno

You have to replace the stuck e-brake cable, or more specifically the one that is stuck. There are 3 parts to the cable, left, right, and front.
You can get them all at most auto parts places. Pretty common.
Kinda PITA job however. Especially if you replace the front cable (attached to the foot pedal.)
Good luck!

Yea i think im gonna do that this month hopefully when i get money. Well let me ask you this my e-brake where you push down with your foot, it doesnt come completely up. So it makes the rear brakes rub. Is there any way of adjusting it so it stays up or do I have to replace that whole unit with pedal?

Ok so found out the rubbing was the dust shield and also the wheel bearing is shot! pulled the wheel and everything and i I could move the the hub all around. I could get everything off but how do you guys take off the axle nut without an impact?
