This car has only had two owners, myself and my father (who gave it to me). He bought in new from the dealer. I was slowly rebuilding it but time, money, kids and work have essentially stopped the project. Time to face reality and downsize. Looking for a good home for it.

Full Grey Leather Interior
Rebuilt Automatic Transmission (hand built, shift kit)
Rebuilt suspension, end to end (SHO Source) (slightly lowered springs (1"), Koni shocks)
Relatively new steering rack
New rear brakes
All engine seals and hoses replaced (doesn't leak)
Valves adjusted and all sensors replaced
Engine has been completely gone through, everything short of a rebuild (which it doesn't need)
New Engine Mounts
New Alpine stereo w/Bluetooth and iPhone interface
Upgraded w/94 Engine Computer
Upgraded w/95 "Hard Button" climate control Unit

Needs some interior & exterior cosmetic work. Everything is stock except for the suspension. I started with the mechanical, leaving the cosmetic for last.
A/C doesn't work (that was next on the list but not a big issue for NorCal)
Car is very mechanically sound, handles like a BMW. Tracks straight as an arrow, fantastic highway car. Engine is very strong but completely stock.
Never raced nor driven particularly hard.

Have probably $10,000 in the car between parts and labor. All work done by a master mechanic who knows what he's doing.
Looking for a good home for it w/someone who appreciates it. Car is garaged in Marin County California (north of San Francisco)
Asking $4000....

Ok guys, soliciting feedback. A few folks have looked but nobody seems interested enough to ask questions. What am I missing?

Well since you asked....

No interior pictures.
What's the mileage?
AC doesn't work....

4000 for ANY ATX is also a little steep...unless it has super low mileage and is in near perfect shape. Just look through the classifieds and you will see what I mean. Your car seems pretty nice, but the ATX market is a whole different animal compared to the MTX market.

Its a solid 2k car IMHO if rust free. Granted, someone might want it and pay more for convenience.

I wouldn't go that low.

RTarleton, you only have pictures of the exterior. Maybe it is the lighting, but the paint on the front end appears to have lost its clear coat/gloss, and has some body damage.

As Sam mentioned, you have no interior pics, no engine pics, or anything of that nature. Your for sale ad needs a bit more documentation.

He is also correct, that $4k is a bit steep for an ATX. How many miles are on the transmission rebuild? That would be important.

The problem with SHO's in general, especially ATX's is that people arn't willing to pay for them. Which is a sad state of affairs, because I have loved my ATX for 10 years, but come to accept it as a reality.

Fair Enough....feedback much appreciated. I will definitely take and upload more pics this weekend.
Will take the pricing under advisement.

Transmission rebuild has less than 500 miles on it, essentially new. Driven enough to make sure its solid and broken in.
