I pulled the driver side door of my SHO because it has a huge dent in it and replaced it with a door off of an identical 1990 SHO out of a junk yard...i replaced all the brackets on the door and now i cant get the door to close at all or seal properly..ive loosened the bolts about 20 times tryin to adjust it and it rubs on the front fender  ...any ideas on how to get the door adjusted right? shrug

Its just a matter of pushing and pulling to get it in the right place. If you cant get it yourself, and it will shut and latch, you may want to give a local bodyshop a call an see what they would want to align it for you. I'm sure they would not charge much; maybe an hour or two of labor.

How did you get that dent? By any chance has the fender moved? There might be possible frame damage. shrug

The door you got may have been damaged before... The best way to line it up is to get it get the gap good between the front and rear door, and line up the body lines. Then line the fender up with the front door and the hood. It's easy to do put it will take some time to get everything perfect.

Well the guy that had it before me was racing it and he had a tire blow out so he spun around and hit the front bumper on a pole then spun around again and hit the driver door..i pulled all of the front end bumper and lights off and the fenders dont look like they were damaged at all..i replaced all the hinges on the new door so those arent bent...i really dont want to take the door off again because getting that electrical plug in is a pain in the rear..plus i keep chippin up the pain on the door cuss

Easiest way to get the plug reconnected in the door is by removing the front fender :)

Like Levand said, align the door to the roof, rocker panel, and the rear door. Then, you can realign the front fender to the door and the hood.

I replaced both of my front doors, and you'd never know it :)
