I've got a '93 ATX purchased about 30 days ago and am ready to start the long process of finding out how well the previous owner took care of it!!! Is there an easy way to tell if the 60K was performed on this SHO? Currently, ODM reading at a little over 91K - so I'm right in the middle - it's either 30K overdue, or 30K away from needing it again!! - If there is not an EASY way, is there a hard way? Pretty obvious the car wasn't "dressed up" to sell - air filter is a clean Fram, oil filter is also a Fram, so its safe to assume previous owner probably wasn't afraid to get at least a little dirty as JoesFastLube usually uses Brand X filters - haven't played around much under the hood other than that, and the basic stuff you check anytime you buy a used car. eek!

Well not really...I would ask the previous owner about it and if he gives you a blank look...you have your answer! But the obviously, if there are various receipts from repairs and other stuff do kind of give you a hint on what went on. Good luck with your sho and hope you can find help when you need it here! thumbs_u

Your ATX isn't due for its first timing belt change until 100,000 miles, so that has not been overlooked. The valves have probably not been gapped, but ask the previous owner anyway. The question is have the plugs been changed. That would be the minimum that should have been done at 60,000 miles.
