After looking at what comes in that kit, I think your money would be better spent buying the parts that you really need from vendors like Ford Parts Network and Shonut. The 60/100k parts/tools for my 94atx cost about $500. Use the money saved by not buying the kit to have somebody do the work for you if you don't feel confident to do it yourself.

I second ISHOU. The SS is very expensive, customer service sucks, and they take a LONG time to get the stuff to you. SHO NUT sells Mark Nunally's (drivenhard) 60k service video which is very good. Seeing it done turns it into an easy job. I used numbered labels on each side of all the connections electrical, vacuum, and coolant. I wrote them down and when I put them back together I checked them off the list. Started right up no problems.

You can do the entire thing yourself. Get the video from Mark or Sho Nut. Scott has accumulated a really great list of parts needed and the best place to buy them. I think that's the way to go. Then get the shim kit from somewhere or buy all new shims (kinda expensive that way). I just bought the tappet depressor and tappet holder for around $35 from OTC, if they don't come with a shim kit rental.
