Gets you a nice intake :)

The chrome part is actually a plastic pep boys cheapo 22* bend as well as the spectre couplers. The big coupler near the fender and the painted bend that meets the cone are from home depot :) thats actually pvc pipe.:snicker:

And here is a pic of my cobras since i never took a pic of them afterwards.

These are 16in wheels with 11.6 rotors and ebc redstuff pads.

Ill probably re-do the couplers with some name brand stuff, get the 90* bend in the fender in stainless pipe, and put a k&n on there instead of the crappy pep boys cone.

Your rotor slots are facing the wrong way :laugh_ti:

Naw man, that looks great. I'm diggin' the PVC pipe, that's how we roll!

Actually, the vanes of the rotor determine the direction of the rotor, not the slots. IOW, the slots can go either way.

Yes, the car looks good. I'd keep what you have. If it works, why spend more?

Sweet Set-up! The best things are not always what costs the most, it's the things that show us as individuals as well as gear heads that really show!! Great work on a sweet ride.:salute:

thanks guys. i just did a few things to it after i posted the pics.

relocated the abs computer, iat sensor, and cleaned surrounding areas.

now im getting a check engine light for the MAF. 157 - maf is/was low or grounded.

Im not sure if its the maf itself or if the wiring job my friend did on it is the culprit.

As I was looking at the pic, I was thinking that the MAF sensor should be closer to the 12 oclock position. Try "clocking" it more vertical, and then see if it throw's a code.

Nope. The wire/senor kept hitting the hood mat so I flipped it over. Solved that. Everything is so close, really hope these solid MM dont let the engine move so my p/c stays nice. The thing so far has not given me a problem since it was re-flashed. No CEL or anything.

BTW I had that same code when I had all those problems with the blower install. Between cleaning the MAF and fixing 2 vacuum leaks, one being a maf joint, fixed it. ( i think it was the leaks mostly myself) I also ckecked my goounds as the p/c was affecting the DIS ground.
