Couple problems here, no biggie, but I could use some helpful tips!
First off, I just remembered to plug my SPOUT connector in 10 minutes ago[had it out for inspection reasons]. Can this be a cause for the high operating temps? I mean it would hang between the "N" and the last line before getting in the red zone. Not to mention, I never pulled a code for this when I checked today, but it was disconnected. Temp would slightly lower with the headlights off and the above said temps were with the a/c off. If I turned the a/c on, it would jump to the border line instantly, possibly going into the red zone if I left the a/c on.
After 20 miles of driving today, I noticed what you would assume slippage. I was rolling around 5 mph and it revved up when throttle was applied. I then came to a stop and the proper downshift occured and I was on my way. This problem happens when slowing down to a near stop, then reapplying throttle. I think it's VSS related and not downshifting correctly.
The other day on a WOT test, the 1-2 upshift occured at 6.5k, everytime. That is not what I recall in my last ATX, it was usually right before 7k.
When slowing down to turn [tranny still not downshifted], I have very tight steering. Again, I think this can relate back to the VSS, but with all of these problems, I am beginning to wonder if it's the PCM, as the tranny was fully rebuilt and upgraded.
Received code 332 and my intake is fully cleaned [done before installing on the fix up]. Waiting for a link, before throwing parts at it. Again, wonder if the PCM can cause this. The CE light will pop on for this after the warm-up cycle has finished.
Trouble starting up occasionally, and when so, the fuel pump will not kick on. You hear the relays clicking and about to fully settle for set up, then they quit. I then had it almost running, but she died and now pulled a code 543 out of her, which I think this is why. When the car is running, there's no fuel pump issues. Yet another reason I am wondering if the PCM can cause.
Any tips or past experiences to share before I have a days work tomorrow [today actually]? I plan on replacing the t-stat and radiator, but I will avoid those if there's a reason for the temps. Radiator cap already replaced.
