Does anybody have any recomendations on clutch setups for a turbo sho.

It's not going to be set up to be as fast as it can...its still going to be my summer daily driver.

In researching button clutches I'm worried i'm going to loose all my drivability if I go with a button clutch. Same thing with going with a solid vs spring hub. It's somewhat difficult to read non-sho specific literature and extrapolate whats going to work for a 330HPish turbo SHO set up.

Any examples of what you guys are succesfully running would be appreciated

Here's a pic from a couple weeks ago cleaning up some of the damage 20 years of batteries will do. Tranny is getting a wavetrac inserted as we speak.

ugh, I mean button, not discs in the title.....can somebody edit the tittle and change disk's to buttons.....oops.

You can do it yourself , go to edit , then click on ''Go advanced'' or something. Then the title will be avalable to edit.

330hp.... BUT how much torque?

I've never driven a boosted car with anything but a CM Stage III. It's a fairly stiff pedal, but really not much stiffer than my stock STi clutch. It uses a windowed disk and is a sprung hub. The point of engagment and your pedal travel inbetween slipping is shortened, but the clutch is VERY driveable.

For a street car...deff. keep it a sprung hub. if you want to do a button style keep it 6 puck. i drove a 3 puck un-sprung, its basically an on/off switch. I would imagine the Shock on the drivetrain would be tooooo harsh for the sho drivetrain.

Solid hub clutch disc's are a big no no on the SHO.

FYI, I have the CMIII in my N2O car and it has taken everything I can throw at it.
