Try to negotiate the price way down saying if anything ever goes wrong with it you're going to have a nightmare of a time finding parts for it. Then show them that RockAuto doesn't list a single part available for the 3.5L 4 cylinder Taurus!!! And therefore if you have to take it to the dealer for all work, ouch!

Saw an ad on AutoTrader just today for a pi Taurus with the same engine combination.
Perhaps Ford was experimenting with square Pistons to add the extra cubic inches to the four banger. LOL
