Ford has the Performance Package listed as "Standard" but in reading the specific information, I am not convinced they meant to list it as "Optional.".
Would assume if an error, Ford will correct it very soon...

If.... this is the last year of the SHO... Anyone planning to buy one and park it? Maybe reserved only for Sunday drives...

I'm actually aiming to get a 2016 SHO in 4-years... If that makes sense.

I really wish the SHO would get an update. The 3.5 is starting to get old and needs a revision with some more power.

Ford has already stated that the Taurus including the SHO is done at the end of this cycle.
Do you have a source for that? I've been watching closely for something definitive and not seen it.

Anyone know where the new Taurus that was shown for the Chinese market is being made? I suppose it is being made in China?

It's really outdated and way too heavy. The Fusion Sport should be a much more capable car. I think putting it away for collectibility speculation would be foolish.

Considering the Ecoboost SHO is yet another groundbreaking vehicle, I think it should be on a Ford fan's collector's list. I do agree that you may never recoup your financial investment, if the fate of the previous Gen's is any indication.

Why do you think it's "groundbreaking" ?
Bringing turbo'd vehicles into the American mainstream is no mean feat (as you can see in the plentiful EB engines available in the Ford lineup today).
So much potential in the platform left over for the owners to tap into, turning a "staid" vehicle into a true performance family sedan. I mean 0-60 in sub 4 seconds, really???
Technology up the *****.
And the price point! What a bonus for secondary market buyers that American cars depreciate so much right off the bat!
