Wow, it's been quite a while since I've been here...
I'm finally looking to get back into an SHO! My first car was a black 1990 SHO. I popped two differentials in it, and junked the car after pulling the motor shortly before moving to the east coast, but I digress.
I'm looking at picking up a 2014 SHO tomorrow. However, I noticed an oddity in the pictures. It seems as if from 2010 until 2012 Ford used a "T" style shifter in the SHO. In 2013 until current, they're using a smaller sleeker shifter.
The 2014 I'm looking at has the "T" style shifter, and I have no idea why. It's being sold at an independent dealership, and they bought it from an auction--so I assume they have no history on the car.
Does anyone have any idea why this car would have a shifter from a 2010-2012 model?
