I just did brakes & rotors on my 2015 and I took those "assembly" bolts out and tossed them. Like you said they're only there to hold the rotors to the wheel hub during the assembly process. I put new rotors & pads on the rear and I only needed pads up front. But my rotors up front are not terrible. Are those the bolts that hold the rotor to the hub? If so, I think those are really just to help keep the rotor tight against the hub during the factory assembly process. Once the caliper and wheel is installed and torqued there's really no benefit that I'm aware of to them. They probably consider them single use items because they have a dry thread locker / Vibra-Tite pre-installed on them.

Seems like it would be a bitch to install the caliper and pads back on without them.I

It actually wasnt hard just had to go slow and set the rotor on the hub and get the already loaded caliper on and bolt it down and pump the brakes and then toss the wheel back on.Seems like it would be a bitch to install the caliper and pads back on without them.
