Overall I like the changes however I am not a fan of the standard gauge package with MyFordTouch. I think the 3 recessed pods look better and the tach and gauges are to small on the MFT cluster.
What I did notice it looks like they upgraded the cheap feeling plastic pieces on the side of the center console. The ones that go around the start buttons.

Part of me wants to say WTF?! Two years in and already a major refresh to the Exterior and Interior? The sad thing is that the new grill won't be a drop in replacement for ours...looks like the whole bumper would have to be replaced as well. Definitely like those headlamps/tail lamps a lot more than the 2010/2011s.
The other thing that cracks me up is that some of the stuff I visualized I would have changed on the current SHO with some aftermarket parts it looks like they did almost the exact same (hood, lights, front fender badges, etc)! Freaky....

Mostly agree with you, but I don't think it's ugly. I actually like our grill better and not wild about the wheels, however it's not in production yet. I do like the taillights better especially the colored trim in place of the chrome. Just one thought...Are those clear taillights going to become like the headlights? Becoming cloudy and dull in a few years?

Ahh, so the Limited gets the 2L EcoBoost, not the 3.5L.
I am digging the LED taillights and the steering wheel! I also appreciate that Ford made the paddle shifters more intuitive, although I probably still would rarely use them. The rest doesn't impress me that much.

I really wish they would take the SHO to this level. It seems Ford is ok with the SHO being Charger RT/300C level in performance.

I can't believe they are finally doing led tails. They should have been on from 2010. Overall of the exterior i'm not impressed. I don't care for the upper and lower grill, and not liking the rear bumper either. The spoiler, tail lights, headlights, and SHO badge all look great though.
Does the 2.0 ecoboost come in awd? If so I would have considered it if it gets 27-30mpg. I can live with less power if it means I get better fuel economy.

Now u all have seen what ive been seeing. I haven't seen those wheels though. The 2.0 Ecoboost was a given. We were already putting them in the Explorer.
