2013 Mirrors -> 2011?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the 2013 two-in-one mirrors that have the wide-angle mirror inset in one corner are backwards compatible to 2011's? On my previous car, I special ordered the left-side wide angle mirror from left-hand-drive markets and loved the resulting field of view. I'd seen the two-in-one's on the Focus previously, and just spotted a 2013 SEL or Limited with them on the road a few days ago.

Got my hopes up... :-/

(I presume I'd have to find a BLIS-specific version if they do fit...)

The Mustangs have them as well (sans BLIS, obviously), and they are backwards-compatible with earlier models. As the body style of the SHO hasn't changed appreciably from '11 to '13, I'd assume they would work as well.

The 2012 actually has the mini blind spot mirror feature standard and they carried over that same mirror into 2013 with the refreshed model, so to answer your question, yes they are backwards compatible.

An APS-145 would add just a scosh of weight to a SHO, I fear. The rotodome alone weighs 2,400lbs!

My last car's mirrors just "peeled" out of a set of retention clips. Fingers crossed that these are similar..

I believe they are phyically compatible, but depending on the options you have on your sho. I don't believe they have the auto dimming feature intergrated in them, i'm not sure about blindspot notification.
