I would suspect the fasteners are loose or missing.

SHOdded might be onto something - that could be it. Can you duplicate the sound by holding the brake and giving it some throttle to put a load on the engine? On Facebook, I suggested a broken motor mount. Unlikely but possible. If you can duplicate the sound with the car sitting still, hood up and someone watching and listening, you might find the source of this.
