2010 SHO Display Question

Hey everyone,

Just had a really quick question for any of you that have the Sony sound with no navigation display, just the small display. I only really listen to music in my car using bluetooth audio. I really liked on my 2015 Focus that it would display the song name that is playing. On my 2010, it only says Bluetooth Media stream, and I haven't found if there is a way / is even possible to have it display the name of the track/artist instead of Bluetooth Media stream all of the time. Any feedback is appreciated, thanks everyone!!

I had the same issue with my 2010. I upgraded sync version to the latest available which the added functionality of displaying the song/artist.

You can download and install the update yourself if you have a 32GB USB stick and it needs to be formatted exFAT.

Does anyone have this update file downloaded to their computer already? I've been in contact with Ford over the last few days, as the download is unable to be done off the website, and also preventing dealers from being able to download it. I guess it's been in ongoing problem they've been having for the last few weeks. It's frustrating knowing that I can have the name and artist in my car now, but the start download button won't click for me to do it...
