Up for sale is a 1997 Ford Taurus SHO. The transmission needs to be rebuilt or replaced. This is otherwise a very clean car with ice cold A/C and power everything, which all works. I really hate to see this car go, but I just don't have the tools or time needed to repair it. Asking 1100 OBO, its worth much more than that in parts so this is a great deal for anybody!

what is the tranny issue?

The short story is it won't go into any gear. The longer story is this happened over a period of time. It started with the car not going into low, but if you started out in second it was fine. Then reverse went, then everything went.
