Nope, Scott's was a Medium Graphite, just like Ryan Pasch's V8 MTX. Here is Greg Jones with the car during our caravan to Denver (after he bought it from Scott):

Weird, I thought it was RM. I went to his site to double check, but it's still down.

15.
VIN: 1FALP54N7TA239500
Condition: Cam Failure #1121 (2009)

16.
VIN: 1FALP54N7TA239531

17.
VIN: 1FALP54N5TA239558

18.
VIN: 1FALP54N6TA239570

19.
VIN: 1FALP54N3TA239588

20.
VIN: 1FALP54N0TA241282

21.
VIN: 1FALP54N4TA255055

22.
VIN: 1FALP54N7TA239531

I can find some others but I will need help. I searched all the places I know to find VIN. If you want to help me, you guys can send me VIN of SHO 96 of yours if you don't mind or scrapped ones you know. At this point, it's like a puzzle for me. The more parts I have, the more I can find (RM). We have now 20 VIN of RM SHO. Can someone call the dealer in WA to add the VIN in our list (I'm very far of that dealer) ?

Searching for something else and I found this one... Someone know him ? Pretty sure it's a Rose mist, no ? We don't have one in this state at this moment.

Hi guys,

I found one batch of them (24), the one that include the british one with factory welded cams. (!?) ?

No, there were no factory welded cams. Before the lawsuit was filed, their suggestion was Loctite!! After the lawsuit, mum was the word.

Here others :

1FALP54N6TA130123 (earliest SHO VIN found from now)
(pcm for 49 states)

1FALP54N1TA132605
(pcm for California and a bloc heater)

1FALP54N7TA132611
(pcm for 49 states)

Not sure about this one, the color mention in french was different from others :
1FALP54N6TA132616
(pcm for 49 states)

1FALP54NXTA132618
(pcm for California and a bloc heater)

1FALP54N1TA132622
(pcm for California and a bloc heater)

1FALP54N9TA132626
(pcm for California and a bloc heater)

Well, according to Etis, we have 8 RM SHO which don't had the 211B package, contrary to the Ford performance group sheet indicating that all have it... (to be short, 7 without sunroof and 1 without keyless)

Very strange the 3 scrapped ones at Romulus, MI... There is something special near this city, any Ford installations ?

Few months ago, I remember that I saw a scrapped 1996 SHO in a scrapyard in Florida in Hollanderparts.com site but his VIN wasn't wrote. However, he was the mention "purple"... Maybe it's the one in Port Richey. We can't be sure.

Awesome Spreadsheet, Kevin! Are the areas with the blanks in your spreadsheet areas of no information in my list that I made?

VIN 132616 does not exist, Midnight Red was never a SHO color and when I pull up the AutoCheck on it, an error message comes back with absolutely zero record for it.

EDIT: Updated my list with all current VINs minus VIN sequence 132616.

Red Night Mist CC was listed in the shop manuals and a pre-name to Rose Mist CC.
Rose Mist CC was used in the dealer brochures.
Blanks are info that were not made know on this thread.

Retrieving VIN numbers from Ford databank it's real long job. I have already an Excel sheet but it's a good idea to put them in sequential order. You can paste yours blank spaces with mine if you want, all the 1100 VIN I have are ordered like this.

VIN number 132616 is a strange case. According to Etis, Ford made a Midnight red SHO which is probably an error or, maybe, a confusion with "Red night mist" name. None record exist for that car...

Another thing useful to know is how many with that color are special order. Mine isn't. (To know that you will have an additionnal number (of 4 digit numbers) on the door sticker just beside the distric code. IIRC Probably some of them are with a color like this.

Kevin: VIN 132616 on ETIS is listed as Midnight Red, which is not Red Night Mist, nor Rose Mist. It's a completely different Taurus G/GL/LX color only. Yet it lists the car as a SHO. When I run the AutoCheck, no records can be found whatsoever. I highly doubt this car left Ford's facilities.

I will look at mine and double check to see if it was special ordered.

a couple of things - I actually found my RM online at a Chevy dealer in Ohio. They were indeed calling the color Midnight Red, which I knew was 'wrong' and I had a close friend in that state go look at the car for me.
That was a good bet that day.... :)

Second thing. Some of us old timers will remember "DukeofSHO" - Matt Duque (sp?) he lives in the Chicago area and last time we got together he still had his wife's RM. As far as I know, they were daily driving it, so the rust bug may have had a bite or two by now.

I don't see Matt's name on here yet.
