After a check up :
U.S. : 31 of the 50 states need 2 plates
Canada : 4 of the 13 regions need 2 plates (Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick for sure)
I thought the front bracket plate option will be more useful...
But I know now mine was sold new in my province because provinces on each side of mine require the front plate. Better than nothing. I will check later if it's match with the door sticker area code B2. We have a part of the history of each car there.
Just because we talked before, the daytime running lights (DRL) is required all over Canada since 1989.
