I currently own a 1994 ATX with half leather seats. Unfortunately, a female acquaintance burned a hole on the bottom cushion of the passenger seat. I have been unable to locate a seat bottom (cannot even locate a full seat). I have attached a picture of the driver's seat for reference.

Looking for a new/used replacement? You need a part number to search databases for old stock.

I have searched online and it appears that NOS parts are for the most part non-existent (even if I had a part number.) I do not have any idea where to get a part number. That is why I posted this on the forum.
Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated

You would have to get a ford dealer parts person to help dig. I would send a message to member Irish Pride and see what he thinks. Click the envelope at the top right, type in his user name -private message is called conversation or something-- and send him a message and maybe a link to this thread so he can see the material. Not sure if he can help or not but he is best resource on here that I can think of.

OE Seat covers are long obsolete. You will have to find a good used replacement. I can get you an original part number next week if you want but I've searched for these before and know for a fact that they are gone. I'm finishing up with my quarantine this week and should be back to work on Monday.

Chad, thanks for the response, a lookup of the part number is not necessary - I am well aware that for the most part, a great majority of the 1st and 2nd gen parts are obsolete and now considered unobtanium. That is why I reached out to the forum looking for a good used bottom cover or if necessary the whole seat. I have owned this car since 1994 and have been trying to maintain it as best as I can. I was invited and showed my car at the Greenwich RADwood show this past October.
Hope you get better soon!

Good luck on the search. there is a facebook group that is also a very good resource. Not sure what the traffic difference there vs here is (never joined facebook, IG or any social myself) but the old stuff owners are a much smaller group these days so cast as wide a net as possible.

Thanks Luigi, but I too do not do social media, especially facebook. Heck, it took me 10 years after I joined to actually post on this site (I don't believe I even introduced myself - sorry)

BTW, the covers can be swapped driver v passenger with very little modification. If you can't locate a really nice passenger seat/cover then a drivers side can be used. It will be easier to find a clean passenger seat in my opinion though.

SV&HOdan - yes a mint or close to mint would be ideal. As you see from my picture, my seats are in otherwise good condition.

Thank you

Chad, thanks for the info on the seat cover - are the seat lower cushions the same left to right as well?

No. Cushions are molded to the seat frames. Right and left specific.

Thanks - doesn't sound like thats easy to replace (e.g. not hel in by hog rings etc)

Does Ford even list a replacement cushion (drivers lower gen 2)?
