Very nice, and a piece of history.

I was surprised to see that it did not have the shock tower brace.

I've been looking through google pictures at different ones from the school and I don't think any had the tower braces.

Nice, I saw a white one Mike Stimson owned at one time and I don't recall seeing a tower brace. Its somewhere on the east coast now.

The listing was posted in one of the Facebook SHO groups. One guy, who seemed to be knowledgeable, had a picture of the car that Bob used. Decals and numbering were a bit different. This one could be as advertised, but the seller seemingly has some explaining to do.

cant remember but can these cars be titled for the street? Do they have VINs?

brain slower with more birthday candles.

Oh boy! Question from the past! May have to ask Eric Jacobsen, or even James Huber, over on FB.

I'm
thinking Yes, as these cars were both ATX and MTX, and I believed that they spanned a couple of model years, so I suspect that they weren't a single run of non-compliant cars, like the Turtle cars.

Or maybe not!

Mike was able to title it in Washington state, from the 2008 convention

I've got a FB Message to Eric Jacobsen about his orange Bondurant car.

Got the response back from Eric. As I suspected, they can be licensed:

"Yes, a lot of them, at least in AZ, wound up with license plates on them after the school sold them. I think the SHO Source guys did that, too, with the one they had. Bob's car was yellow, #1, so if it's something else it wasn't his. I know his did get sold off."
