Just purchased my new SHO (1993 3.2) from another forum member here that i work with. It has an oil leak from the rear valve cover gasket, I got all my parts in now (150 dollars later :p) and cant wait to get this fixed as its a horrible leak. Before I jump in I need some advice on how to go about doing this. I have my intake manifold, valve cover, and spark plug tube gaskets all here and ready to go. Ive never changed any gaskets like this on a newer motor before and really dont want to mess up my new car. Any help/advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Also, every once in a while it doesnt want to start, almost like the fuel pump isnt sending anything to the engine, is this a common problem in cars like mine?

pull the codes after a good ride. has it stalled on you while driving? if so, you can bet that it is your CPS (crank position sensor), and or CID (cylinder id/cam sensor) research front and top '60K services' before you dig in...you might find more stuff that is a good idea to do while you are there.

My 93 mtx does that. If this is what your tyalking about, When its cold or semi cold (not fully warmed up) and I stall it sometimes it doesnt start right back up. It takes a while to start and sometimes i pump the gas a few times when im cranking and that helps. Maybe you can try that I dont know if it will help you just dont flood the engine:thumb:
