1993 Color Question

I used to have a 1993 SHO that was a very odd color that I have never seen before that or again since I got rid of the car. It was almost a blue purple color and I have been looking for another one like that or maybe just some photos or a color code maybe?? Anybody happen to know what this color was called or have any information??

Ford only used a single blue color for the SHO of that vintage and it didn't have any purple in it. Anything else must have been from Earl Schieb or Maaco.

my 93 has that same type of paint. Whatever the blue is for the year is what it is.. in some light it almost looks purple. Just a factory color Good luck finding another one

I like to call that color Bluie. It indeed takes a purplish hue in certain light. It's my favoritist SHO color.

Here it is with a light blue pinstrip.

huh, I'd never notice any purplish cast in the blue.

But then, my wife says I'm color-blind...

Anyone have the color code off the door label for that one for a 93?

I've noticed the 93 blue kinda takes on a purpleish hue in certain light. I thought it was just the faded and ill-taken care of car that I had in my garage for a while, but apparently not.

is that royal blue??? midnight is 94-5 only isnt it?

if so, royal is a very deep blue, that I could see having purple in it.

Yes, its royal blue. Yes, with certain lighting it has a purple-ish cast to it. Finding touch-up paint for that color is a pain...
