1990 Ford Taurus SHO. 2nd Owner. 134,000 GENTLE miles. Recent full paint. New $200 radio. Extra 10-disk CD player. Bought with 71K, so no knowledge of 60K maintenance. I did not do the 120K, just oil changes every 3K. To my knowledge the heads or pan has never been off.

Must sell, make offer.

Is this the car JRA was talking about??

Yep, that was me. Since we're no longer allowed to link to craigslist ads, I can't put the hyperlink on here but yes he does have at least one picture. The paint looks great! It's located in Panama City Beach, FL, so I think you know how to go find the pic. now. I think everyone would like to see closer, detailed pics of the exterior and interior also.

Bob, if you don't mind saying, what'd you pay to get that paint job done? I know you said a local guy over in PCB did it.

I think if there's a paid classified the linking would be ok? Mods or Bizzy care to chime in on that one?

And, are you really Bob Lutz? :)

Any pictures of the car and interior? Was there any rust? How is the new paint job?

I can take some pictures of the interior tomorrow and post them, if I figure out how to do that. The new paint job is very good.

I paid about $1600 for the paint job. He removed a few small bumps, there was no major damage. There was almost no rust. He removed and repaired the front crowling (?) where I had hit a parking block a couple of times. It was painted about 2 years ago. It spends the summers in a garage while I am off in my fifth wheel up north.

I am 71 and my knees hurt too much to drive it any more. It lives in Panama City Beach.

Here's the first 5 pics Bob. I didn't post the 6th pic as it wasn't of the car. :) Send the others when you're ready.

Wow! That is a NICE paint job on the car. If I had the extra $, I'd almost be tempted to sell mine and buy this one JUST because of the paint job (but of course I'd want to swap out my slicers, brakes, and rod shifter 1st). Good luck with the sale. I almost called the seller to look at it since I was over at the beach this weekend. I knew I didn't have the extra $ right now, so I didn't bother; although I could have taken a look at it for you guys and taken some extra pics. I'll let everyone know if I'm over there again in the next few weeks. It's a possibility.

This car is only 3 hours away from me. If anyone on the forum buys it and comes through Mobile to get it, give me a shout. It's college spring break down there right now, so go party while you're at it.
