Coming next week (hopefully) my brand new, 1-off, two toned white lettering on black background Ford oval emblem for the trunk lid.

Here's a pic of it as I received it a couple of weeks ago from customfordemblems.com :

042.jpg

I have since taken it my local paint shop for custom hand lettering. The parts that are getting done in white are the the Ford cursive scripting, as well as the smaller, inset, oval chrome circle (also in white).

Once the hand lettering gets completed, then the paint shop will clear over it 2x.

I've been told to expect it by the middle, to the end of next week.
It will give another small touch towards perfection in respect to your global theme. You must be impatient! That is what makes it fun to start to modify our car, every little addition makes us appreciate the car like new. Looking forward to seeing it on your car...
Cheers Mike!

In case you didn't know it; this is a sick car.:dribble:

Ooops......

Almost forgot to update this thread to add to the list of "1-off" mods for my SHO. Custom two-toned upper and lower mesh grilles compliments of Mobsteel.

I posted up a couple of these pics in my "how-to" thread on removing the front bumper clip, but it'd be appropriate for me to add a couple of the final install pics here in this thread as well.

To that end............. ENJOY!

Mike, for the first time I have to be a bit critical of your mods. Let me begin by saying I really think the roof looks great, just the way I would have done it, and I love the black and white Ford emblem. But I hope that you are almost done with the black on white on the body. I'm beginning to think anymore will become almost too much black. Please don't get me wrong, your car looks GREAT (shouting that) but I'm afraid that anything but little accents in black may be too much. That said I know that it's your car and you can do anything you want AND everything you have done so far looks awesome, so obviously your sense of style is much, much better then mine, so don't take this post too seriously, but just wanted you to hear my thoughts. Hope you're not upset by my comments.

That car is HOT SEXXX!!! I love it. What do you think of white wheels? I think it would really finish off the look...

How about the blue emblem of your four wheel mags? Maybe they could do them in black too for a good price... Just kidding! Car looks awesome... And I would leave your wheels as is, wouldn't put them in white... jmo
Cheers!

I've been following this for a while, and your passion has paid off!

I was looking to replace the side badges in your above photos, and also throwing the black decals on the door handles. Would you mind PM'n me on where you bought them from? Was it all Livernois or another company? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Thnx for the kind words LM..... it is a passion indeed.

I still have a few things dancing around in my head that I have yet to accomplish. What makes it difficult turning it into a reality, is the availability of mod money.

So the excrutiating part is having to keep those ideas bottled up in one's thoughts and being able to have an overall, "grander" vision for the finalized product.

Always good to have an intended goal :thumb:

As far as purchasing these products or what have you, I bug my local paint/body shop quite routinely to perform this type of work.

All of that stuff you desire to have done is professionally painted. So my only suggestion would be is to go visit a local paint place near you and get a quote.

The owner of the paint shop I use regularly, has told me I should've gone into vehicle design and even kind of half joked at bringing me on board for consulting work.

I told him that'd be a great retirement / post-LEO gig :naughty:

Sweet! Thanks for the advice too about the local painter. I hear you about the money....I wish i could win the lottery haha. Then I could really turn my hobby into whatever i want, whenever i want it lol

Mike, it really looks great! The best thing is that this is one of the subtle touches that just ooze class. It's these little things that make your car one outstanding piece!
