Autolumination will cue you in to what you need to buy, but here is a list of bulbs from Sylvania. Some of these bulbs will cross list with LED's, but the crappy thing is that (like what people have experienced in these threads) that some LED bulbs don't fit at the base, are too long, etc. If you don't buy from a reputable seller, there can be SIGNIFICANT variations in color of EACH bulb. Autolumination is who I got all my Fusion LED replacements from and they were fantastic.

I'm going to be making a "parts list" for these swaps since I will change all of these out eventually, so if anyone has any recommendations that haven't already been listed here I'm all ears. My incandescents are already almost TWO YEARS OLD (for SHAME!!!!)......so it's time for them to go.......or that's the excuse I'll make for buying a couple hundred bucks in little tiny LED bulbs.............

I know that I used Festoon bulbs in the puddle lights, license plate, and inside trunk light, but I can't remember what size. I believe that bpd1151 might have the size for the puddle lights and license plate lights listed in this thread earlier. For my interior and side marker lights I used the Super Nova Matrix 5X size 194. The bulbs that Mike recommended and used in his switch did not fit in the fixtures of my car. Also as said earlier I would use a white bulb in the side marker bulbs instead of an amber.

Also I will try to come up with the bulb I used for license plate and trunk...I know it is the same bulb. I bought all the bulbs from Autoillumination and they were great, fast service and helpful.

I believe it needs the 39mm bulb. But I would measure the current bulb before ordering just to be sure to get the right size.

Since my tailights will be getting replaced due to chrome peeling, I think I will order these bulbs today or tomorrow and have them put in to replace the reverse bulbs. If you havent ordered those already, dont. You need something that shoots the light in a 360 degree area. Those only shoot forwards, and will provide little light compared to what you have (and they are expensive). You need a bulb like this

That will shoot in every direction to maximize use of the reflectors in the housing. I ordered those yesterday (should be here tomorrow). When I get them I'll post up a pic.

I just got the 7440s and they are definitely not the correct bulb. Despite what the Sylvania site says, they are not wedge based bulbs. The bulb in there now uses two connectors and just slides into place. We need some sort of adapter to put these bulbs in.

The Owners Manual says the back-up light is: HPC 16W not 7440.

Aha, sounds like Mark is all over this one. I'd also like to change out the back-ups for better back-up visibility.

You didn't happen to check the tail and stop light bulbs while you were checking out the back-up lamp? I wonder if they are a standard bulb or a special too. May not be able to replace the back-up with an LED

My tails and brake lights are standard fitments. I actually replaced them once before with LEDs but didnt think to order the 360 degree type bulb so I put the stock ones back in due to brightness.

Since I don't have a car right now, I decided to spring and ordered LED bulbs for the taillight and stop bulbs. Ordered single circuit bulbs for the top taillight bulb and dual circuit bulbs for the bottom stop/taillight bulb. I will post pictures once I get the bulbs, and the car back from the shop, hopefully I have ordered the correct LED bulbs, if they fit and work I will post the info on the bulbs.
You bought pnp bulbs for the brakes? I think you are going to be really unhappy as our housings are not designed for led, and those pnp bulbs are not bright at all. The only decent led bulb for incandescent housings are the elef 5 watt bulbs, and those don't work in every application. I think the only way to do led for the brakes are a true led retrofit, which involves a lot of time, money, and good soldering skills. Please don't test them in traffic during the day or you might get rear ended.

Sorry Bill, I am not knowledgeable enough with bulbs, I do not know what you mean by: pnp or elef bulbs. I plan on seeing how and if they work before making them a replacement for the current bulbs. I am not sure how I will like them or if they will even work. Time will tell.
Pnp is plug and play. Can you link to what bulbs you bought? The reason why pnp bulbs make horrible brake lights, is because they are not powerful enough to act as a brake light. Oem led lights use a good amount of heat sink and more powerful leds to give off enough light. Pnp have almost no heat sink and they use cheap/dim leds so they don't burn up in 30 seconds. If you want to learn about leds, I suggest reading hidplanet.com and go through the led section.

Their website used to be a lot better with a bunch of pictures and videos. Personally I wouldn't bother with them. If you really want led light it's better to pay someone to do a retrofit. It's going to be really expensive, but will look amazing. Your option are endless going that route, but you are probably looking at least $1,000 for the parts and labor.

Bulbs I ordered did not work, in the bottom tail//stop light position the bulb would not light at all and the top taillight bulb is not a 3057 it is a smaller bulb. Guess I'm going to give up on replacing those bulbs with LEDS...
