Your rear passenger light setup is different. The basket assy is the push button to turn the spots on. You have an actual button.

Looks great guys...thanks for the info. Can't wait to do the same myself.
However, I do have to say..for MSRP of $46k, it should have these already. :)

So true but I dont think any car comes with them. My G55 doesnt have LEDs on the inside and it cost about 3 times what the SHO cost.

Yea, my dads Cadillac DTS has interior/exterior LEDs. Of course, new MSRP was $54k, but he bought used with 28k miles for $20k, ha.

Just got my LED Bulbs for the interior (T10 Tower II) and discovered they are not like the ones shown and that they are too long to fit in the housing for the interior bulbs. Now trying to find a bulb that will fit.

I used the Putco LEDs and have the same problem with the ones above my head in the roof. The ones right at the sunroof controls are long, but still fit fine. I'm looking for some shorter LEDs myself. Glad to know I'm not alone. :nut:

I'm sorry this occurred. I don't know why what you received in your order would've been any different than what I ordered.

Unless the company changed things in the last couple of months. All I can suggest is when contacting them, perhaps ask them if they want the link to this particular thread to show that you based your order on the information I provided......

I would hope they'd do the right thing and exchange your order. Please keep me posted. I don't know anyone at that company, but I'll vouch for you if it helps at all. I've never had any issues myself.

I didn't order mine thru any company offline. I picked up mine from my work after I did my boss' 2011 Super Duty since the bulbs were similar and so was the sunroof controls. His rear interior lights were different but I hope to try finding the shorter ones shortly.

Mike the bulbs were completely different from yours. The ones I received only had 1 LED on the end and four rows on the sides. They also had a much wider space between the side LED's. However, I contacted the company and they got back to me very quickly, giving me a refund on the bulbs I purchased and I've already ordered some bulbs that I believe will work. The old bulbs are already in the mail and I will post the bulbs I am getting (if they fit properly). Autolumination could not have been better to deal with, I'm pleased with the quick response. I did manage to replace the light in the trunk with an LED (same bulb as the license plate light). So I am on my way. Hopefully the bulb I ordered for the side marker will fit without problems. BTW, I am currently working on separating the housing on one of the puddle lights, I am trying to use an X-Acto knife to get the lens off the housing...but it is slow going.

You wont get through with an exacto knife. Its pretty thick plastic, you need to use some sort of saw. Mike used a coping saw. I was lazy and used a band saw.

You were so right, I worked on it for 2 hours then ended up using a serrated edge work knife, and it still took about 4o minutes, but I was being careful. Ended up working out fine. I actually got a spare puddle light from my dealer for 5 dollars, so I used it for my first try. Sealant is drying now, so I only have the passenger side to do, and I will have a spare. I can't believe the dealer sold me the light, but they had just gotten one from a broken mirror. Worked out great for me! :thankyou:

after I found out the side flood light use a 31mm bulb I order me a pair and used my Dremel tool to cut the black plastic off.

I changed the dome light some blue led smd flat lights 3x4 (12) smd's
and the turn signals to blue also

You cant use a dremel because it spins so fast it melts the plastic and makes an uneven and sloppy cut

I did but I was carefull at it. I did it slow where the plastic would not melt or not as I experanced in the past with cutting plastic off.

I know whay you mean though

Yeah a dremel with adjustable speed wont melt plastic if you go slow. I ordered some leds so thats what I will probably do.
