    Back again...flickering of lights were due to a not tight enough positive cable on the battery.Easy fix thank gosh.Speedo still not working but thats about the only thing.Im still wondering what that black connector is for? Thanks again for all the input.

    Aight heres where im at now.Steering wheel shaking problem was that i reversed the power steering lines going into the rack and pionion.Not good :eek: ...but is ok now.The not starting issue was solved by making sure the saftey nuetral switch was all the way pluged in.Needless to say she fires...

    update Ok update time.Got the car to start by crossing silinoid and it fired up.So obviously somewhere between ignition and starter.But the mentioning of that strap rings a bell.I dont remember taking it off or puting it back on.So that may be the source of that problem.Im still not seeing the...

    Update!!! But have major problem with steering or rack shake...while idling...no joke Hey guys have another problem...imagine that. Replaced my tranny this weekend(yes pulled the engine out with it also) got it all back together and now no start.This is on a 95 atx.I have power to all lights...

    Update Well guys took the tranny and engine out the top finally :thumb: Wasnt to much of a pain in the a##.Got tranny and engine seperated and realized atleast some of the problem.Looks as if maybe Tranny pump siezed for some reason and in turn rounded out inside of torque converter.Lots of fun...

    What spec of tires is right to use snow chain

    Make sure you pick size correctly so speedometer stays the same or realize that it might be off alittle.If you have 215-60-16`s then optinal tire sizes would be 225-55-16 or 235-50-16(if they make it).These will keep speedometer about the same.If you do go with 225-50-16 speedometer will be off...

    Please help with no-start problem (Threads merged)

    Its sounds like to me that its the cps sensor.I had the EXSACT same problems with mine.What happens is the collant leaks down into the housing where the cps is and screws it up.My 95 would normally start cold and when it got hot would not start.I could let it sit and an hour later it would start...
