not sure of the boost levels of tim's car at the given rpm's do know that at 100 mph it still is still pulling vaccum. I'll try to find the formula on the injector size, time has 47lbs with 430 whp and is still fat, infact never register above 10-1 on the dyno. and about turbo lag at highway...

Gauging interest and specs for turbo kit.

from what I've heard turbonetics bov and wastegates are not all that good tial is by far a better choice. as regards with the tweecer I would offer it as an upgrade, if its a set 6psi system the ted b chip would be the way to go. by keeping it simple there would be less problems.

Gauging interest and specs for turbo kit.

hey chris a kit would be nice, I would use a tial bov and wastegate, and spearco intercooler for starts. don't forget a ted b chip.

    HOw much for turbo's

anything is possible, you could do a low boost system and keep alot of the car stock, but here is your problem. first, if you do the system yourself plan on about 5k for the turbo system only. second here are some of the problems you will run in too, when I ride or drive toolman's (he is my...

    HOw much for turbo's

well back to the orginal question. you can put a turbo on a stock motor for $4,562.63. and thats if you know how to weld and some other things. on the other side of the coin if you know nothing and have to pay someone to do all the work then it will cost you alot of money.$8,447.68 to be exact.

    Supercharges

supercharging is not the only way to go, but if you go the fi route you better have a good tranny built to handle the power. twin turbo's would be nice but you only need one to hit 400 hp.

    AC pulley froze, questions.....

I'll agree, but you need to find out why it froze. the clutch could have gone but the compressor also could have locked up. btw it will be cheaper and easier to replace the entire assembly. If the compressor went you might have to replace some other things also.

    AC charge questions...

yes you can, it depends how much the system has leaked. look for oil around the fittings if there is not any you will not have to put in any oil. imo I would sell the r-12 and convert it to r-134. r-134 will get cold my vent temps are around 40 degrees. the oil goes in the same way. If you...
