    Valve shim... What does a badly worn one look like? Is it easy to replace? Ive looked at them when i did my CPS and Knock but didnt really inspect them closely. Think this has worn down my lobes? How long you think i can get out of those plugs and wires? Ive herd mixed opinions about them...

    Idle fixed, Knock not... But.....

    Perfect way to describe the sound is by hitting a pen against ur desk and holding it from the bottom very hard sound. I also just checked my pullys and other misc. things for tightening. Sound seems to be coming from #2 cylinder using a scope to listen for it.

    Ok after buying new Bosch Platnum Plugs and Bosch Wires (besides for being alot lighter in the pants) has fixed my idle problem but not the knock. Seems when in nutral @1000rpm - 2750rpm its a knock BUT from 2.75k and up its a chatter. You can definately tell the difference from the idle sound...

    Sho not idling seems like its surging

    Just put in new plugs, wires and cleaned IAC assembly. Now when trying to start the car all you hear is popping coming out of the intake (backfire) so hard infact it blew my airfilter off (wasnt clamped down but still thats hard) Im am at a total loss...     Well new O-Rings in this time i found that there was a 1/4" gap between the rail O-Ring and the injector spacer w/ the O-Ring kit it comes with 12 0-Rings so I put 2 on each injector and it doesnt seem to be leaking AS MUCH, but it is still leaking, talk about being frustrated.     Well I just bought the new o-rings again so this time i'll put them into the rail first then into the heads i think thats the problem, I was splitting the o-rings before. Hopefuly this time it wont leak. Thanks for the info as always :)

    Pump is correct after sending back the first one, RockAuto sent me one for a Gen II the first time got it right the second and 50 dollars later in shipping costs.
