Blackstone Laboratories PTU Test Results
Imma go with this... Also the fact I had to change the PTU in my 11' at about 105k. So with my 16' (bought it new), I change the PTU fluid at least twice a year. This is the +2 turbo option for the SHO. Nope, I'm going to quote you on this... Catted DPs with factory cat back is (in my opinion) the best combination for sound out of these cars. Gearhead Performance Package
I've still not had a chance to properly data log my car after the IC upgrade and send it in for analysis. I must admit, I'm fairly SCT dumb and haven't been able to figure out the file for being able to monitor the IAT2 readings.- gimpy

Livernois tune
Sooooooooooo much this. I was a very loyal and supportive customer to LMS since tuning my 11' SHO and strapping it with all their goodies. Then started with my 16' to follow suit and was again happy, to a point. Dealt with shifting issues over and over...had the "tune update" twice, spent time...- gimpy

LMS vs Gearhead track times
Excellent comparison and you beat me to it. May I ask what all mods you have done? I'm personally hoping for low/base 12s this season and can't imagine its asking for too much. Have both LMS and GH tunes, downpipes, CAI, 3bar, plugs, t-stat and just got the GH intercooler.- gimpy

GH vs LMS (v11) Total Autozone parking lot talk, but according to GPS times, the two are about neck/neck out to about the 1/8 mark. GH does pull a little harder afterwards. Still waiting on a chance to put the two tuners head to head in the same car, on the same track in the same conditions...- gimpy

For the amount of money you would invest into a system to spray the cooler, plus constantly monitor/refill it, you would be better off installing the upgraded IC and wouldn't have to worry about monitoring or refilling it.- gimpy

I'm not doubting it as the shifting issues with my v11 tune have driven me far past annoyed. The IC install will probably wait a while (depending on when it arrives) so its like... weeeeellll, I should because it's there... type of thing- gimpy

LMS vs Gearhead "Canned Tunes" Comparison
My SCT from Matt at Gearhead arrived today and my Gearhead intercooler ships out next week. I'm a little giddy about this, much like when I ordered all my LMS stuff. From what I've read, the IC upgrade alone is good for 40hp...not to mention the ridiculously lower IAT numbers. I haz a happy- gimpy

I could be mistaken, but I believe you have to go to the GH tuning forum and put in the required fields then download the tune/tunes from them onto the SCT device.- gimpy
