Rebuild 3.0 or Switch to 3.2 in My 93 MTX
My 92 MTX's engine(3.0) was rebuilt before I bought it. Has 192,000 miles on it. Has been driven by NikAZ who has a 450+hp turbo sho and said it pulled harder then he remembered when his car wasn't turboed. A good rebuild goes a long way in these 3.0's. Thinking about getting one . . .
Craig... there are plenty of site links on this forum for parts(new and refurbished) and members on here are always parting out various parts. Getting parts is not a problem. I would stick with the 3.0 block if you don't plan on putting on a turbo or supercharger. You would just be getting...- creeker

Oil/Filter Recommendations
Mobile 1 came out with a high mileage 75,000 plus synthetic 15w-50 that I've been using in my 190,000+ mileage SHO. I've always used Mobil 1 synthetic in my other cars. I live in Phoenix, hence the thicker weight of oil. 15w is a lil thick as there are cool mornings here in the winter, but I let...- creeker

Yay, 12s...VID!!
Congrats on running in the 12's and everything staying intact. Nick's turbo SHO makes you think your SHO is just a stock taurus. From my experience. haha. Keep it it up man.- creeker
