    i have good voltage, a new batt, but it just tries to crank but wont...it had no problems except for occasional sputtering and a jumping tach once in a while at start up. i just shut it off and now shes dead....im thinkin crank sensor but am unsure of symptoms....anybody experience a bad crank...

    use the 55hp jet , that way you don't need to mess with the timing , i have the zex too and it is fine with the 55 jet !..........and if you got a chip u got to take it out unless it is tedb chip then he can reprogram it for you , ...good luck either way !
