    Well what my friend and I did to his car when his cable shifter went bad, was go to the junkyard buy a rod shifter for 17.50 and tear out his cable shifter and replace it with the rod; it really wasn't too hard to do.

    Well i checked the brakes today and from what i had seen they look just like they did before the blow out and they seem to be working now but still no idea why the light would still be on.     Well I drive a 94 ATX and just recently fixed an oil leak and finally got it to pass emissions. For about a week the car ran fine, then just a few days ago I go to start up the SHO and go to work and the engine starts fine but I can't depress the button on my stick to get it out of park. Any ideas?
