Well I drive a 94 ATX and just recently fixed an oil leak and finally got it to pass emissions. For about a week the car ran fine, then just a few days ago I go to start up the SHO and go to work and the engine starts fine but I can't depress the button on my stick to get it out of park. Any ideas?

First things first.

Compress your sig picture. 300K + will get you in trouble.

Secondly, I've heard that ATXs have a transmission range sensor...whatever that is...I just look at my tachometer to know what range my transmission is in....

HAR HAR HAR.

Have Someone Look And See If Your Brake Lights Come On When The Pedal Is Depressed. If Not Then It Is Most Likely Your Brake On Off Switch. Also Check The Fuses First. You Can Drive The Car You Just Have To Turn The Key Forword One Click Before The On Position And Put It In Neutral, Start It Up And Put It In Gear.
