BOO replaced, still shifts from Park
On 93 ATX: I had a BOO code, and my shifter came out of park anytime (key out, on, etc). I replaced the BOO, no code anymore. BUT, I can still shift out of park anytime. All fuses are good. My cruise does not work, so I wondered if both problems could be from my cruise deactivation switch...- idaeus

Update on 60K front, next......
93 ATX, 124K, ill treated by past owner. Thanks to forum, I just completed my first 60k front. This included a harmonic balancer, as mine had started to separate at the dampener, all 3 cam seals (only took an hour, the one under the sensor leaked like a sieve), timing belt, water pump, crank...- idaeus

Front 60K, Accessory Tensioner
I am doing my front 60K on a '93 ATX. When I removed the accessory belt tensioner, the small line up pin (i guess this is what it is) snapped off , and is sitting in engine. Is this repairable by taking back of off tensioner and mounting a new line up pin, bolt, etc? Thanks in advance.- idaeus

Progress on 60K Front
I thought I'd share some progress with doing a front 60k, my first(thanks Phoenix project!). I am down to the CPS and crank seal. The CPS heads are sort of stripped, so I am working on teasing these screws out. Interesting, there was a mouse nest(a bunch of garbage, bones) down between the...- idaeus

headlamp mounting panel
I searched the posts.......can't seem to determine if I can use a headlamp mounting panel from a sable or other ' 93 taurus. Rockauto does show different part numbers for each, so....... Thanks,- idaeus

Bought '93 ATX, Should I keep it?
picked up a 93 atx cheap, having buyer's remorse. besides lots of body issues, major issues so far include: 1. an oil leak on the bottom (investigating now). 2. some shuttering, hesitating in 4th gear. Perhaps cutting my losses now is the smartest................- idaeus
