picked up a 93 atx cheap, having buyer's remorse. besides lots of body issues, major issues so far include:
1. an oil leak on the bottom (investigating now).
2. some shuttering, hesitating in 4th gear.

Perhaps cutting my losses now is the smartest................

1. Your probally talking about a $12 cam seal.. or a $20 crank seal. Granted the second one is a pain to get to.. but still.. cheap fix.

2. Could be something more, but have you gotten the fluid changed yet? Another $20-30 well spent I would think. After all it is a "cheap find" right? You have to assume that it needs a good tune up and some fresh fluids at least.

Don't worry yet.. I see this is your first post, so you must be pretty new to SHO's.. :) Use that search button, you've got some learning to do.. :) And welcome..

thanks

yeah, i am examining origin of leaks. i did the KOEO and KOER tests(at least no week cylinders). i have some experience with these cars, as i owned a 99 a while back. i mentioned the major items which gave me concern, but there is a long laundry of nickle-and-dimmer's i am concerned about too. will have to ponder some more..............

thanks again, m
