    Just mix the 100 octane with the 91 octane to get 93. Probably only need 3 gallons or so of the 100.

    Your twin turbo SHO engine was probably stock tuned for 91 octane anyway, since 93 isn't available everywhere particularly at higher elevations. Just put 91 in you will get more spark advance and likely a couple psi higher max boost pressure - once your octane sensor picks up on the improvement.

    89 SHO intermittent stumbling problems.

    In addition to the suggestions above, plugs, wires or oil leaking into the plug wells can cause these stumbling issues. Have you washed the engine recently as water can get into the plug wells but is relatively easy to remove (except for cylinder 5)

    Not being able to get into first or second is a sign that the throughout bearing is wearing through the clutch fingers. you can usually adjust the cable once but will be on borrowed time for a clutch r&r

    Chris my silver 95 MTX is for sale just south of you in CT, never seen a winter, garage kept in summer, so no brittle wires or seals. Hoses for coolant got replaced when I put the rebuilt Quiafe trans in.

    pretty recently on ebay you could still find brand new Sable left headlights genuine Ford-Mercury and could move the fishtank over. Search for and on the part number. You will need new "slider nuts" for the adjusting screws-mounts
