    2010 Squeal/Growl on hard acceleration

    I finally got around to fixing that exhaust leak, and that sound seems to have been solved. The leak was at the donut gasket between the front bank flex pipe and the underbody catalytic converter. The lower bolt broke and the gasket turned into a reed/un-harmonica.

    Can you scope the cylinder through the spark plug hole? See what the piston and cylinder walls look like. Either way, looks like a major repair. :(

    Does the scanner give a full code description? P0102 & P0103 are MAF (Mass Air Flow) Codes, but these are MAP controlled engines not MAF.

    PTU Affected by tires???

    Yep, Get a second opinion. Mismatched tires might cause the computer to over-actuate the clutches in the RDU, but the PTU is basically a 90 degree gearbox, it is completely mechanical.

    lol, I had to do 3 bolts, and after breaking off 3-4 half inch bolts, I resorted to using an impact on the bolts and it finally came off.
