I still have people coming up to mine saying "Oh look, that's a SHO". Makes me smile. I see a few running around here too.
As soon as I saw the video I knew people would love it. Awesome shit there.
Odds are fairly low. I have over 200k on my 2013. Granted, most of that was highway miles. She's retired to DD now around town. Occasional wide open throttle just because they need it. Regular oil changes. And she's still sporting all original components. Knock on wood lol.
Probably the only thing on it that says it's a ford, let alone a SHO. The whole thing is just freaking awesome. Way more than I could have envisioned.
Spring will definitely be worth waiting for. I can always feel the difference when cool weather hits when I drive mine.
That does absolutely suck. Have you checked for SHO's with body damage, but good Engines? There was a owner on here that was trying to sell their car after some side impact damage. I think he was fairly close to you. Try to see if Sledriver is still in possesion of his ride. He's got parts in...
Baby steps till you're absolutely sure it's all good. So amazing what you've accomplished. Soon you'll have to put her up for the winter again and that'll give you more time to check all the mods and be sure.
That's the bad thing about being the first to do something, you get to figure it out for everyone else.
Glad you're not letting it get you down. We're all sure you'll get there.
Glad you took your time and worked it out. Like I said before, 90% of the time it's something we did or didn't do. But you've done so much with it, I'm sure it was hard to keep track of. Waiting on a solid run for you to post now.
That's some terrifying shit to me. You guys are beyond anything I know or are capable of. I can do maintenance, but messing with the electronics scares the crap out of me, just for the reasons stated. Kudos to you all.
Definitely how I learned. Take it apart, put it back together, if it doesn't work right, take it back apart, because it's more than likely something you did or didn't do.
Now it just takes me twice as long, because the body isn't willing lol.
You mentioned all the codes it's throwing, but is it running well? Doesn't bog down or hesitation? Plugs not fuel fowled? Normal plug colors? Injectors working normally?
Just a few things that I can think of.
Hopefully some of the gurus will chime in for you.
