    sho won't start?

    I changed the right timing chain tensioner and I don't have the cam gear for the exhaust on correct. I'm almost positive this is the problem, I just don't know how to correct. I have spark, I have fuel, and everything was connected back on the manifold, but the car just cranks and cranks.

    I think I just screwed up the exhaust cam gear. One other question the new tensioner didn't have hardly any resistance when compressed.

    I recently replaced the right timing chain tensioner,(the side next to firewall),when I was changing plugs and seals. When I took the cam gears off I tied them on with fishing line, but I think when I put the gears back on they were off.I triple checked all connections for the intake...

    Why should I check the timing belt, if I didn't don anything to screw up the timing, it ran before I took it apart.

    Will the cam gear bolt do damage?

    First of all thank you, for the input, this forum is great. I tried getting the bolt, that I dropped down an oil drainage, using a powerful magnet on the oil pan today, but no luck. If I leave the bolt in there will it cause any damage. One other thing, is black rtv fine for the plug well...

    Please help

    Today, I was taking off the cam gears to get the chain tensioner out, and I dropped one of the two bolts down an oil drain. I don't know what to do. I don't really feel like getting the bolt, unless it will cause harm. If I have to, I don't know how to go about it. -Thanks
