I don't know about your state, but in MI you can get a prescription/note from you physician or optometrist stating you have light sensitivity which lets you get away with tinting your front windows...as long as they are not so dark it obstructs the drivers vision or ability to clearly see the...

Black w/ 20% and magnetic w/ 35% Grouchy, I realized I referenced my old profile picture with the 35 and then updated the pick with the 20:rolleyes:

Yes, I don't think you can go wrong with 35 (as long as it is a good quality film with reputable installers).

You are so right! I had 35% on my last SHO, but decided to get 20% on my new one. I had no night issues with the 35, but there is a pretty big difference at night with the 20...I notice it just trying to back out of my driveway in the morning. I would explain it like wearing sunglasses at night...

Magnetic Metallic is the color of his SHO ...or are you asking about metallized window film? This link will break down the basics for the different types of tint. I'm sure there is more info out there this is just a quick explanation of the basics:)...

I thought the 35% was a perfect match for the Magnetic (it looked classy), but was worried it would look too light/grey with the black. I think you'll be fine either way...just remember 20% is a bit darker at night.

My profile picture is a Magnetic 2015 w/ 35% tint, but she got totaled last month:(. My new SHO is a Black 2016 and I had 20% put on her this weekend.

@BoatSHO I'm with you...I think the Taurus is more distinctive than the SS (I love my boat:)). Pretty much...some design changes, but basically fills the place of the G8. Everyone is always asking him, "what is that an Impala, a Malibu", so I call it the Impalibu...it drives him crazy:poke...
